This chemical manufacturing company provides products to a variety of customers in a wide range of industries. The company has been very profitable over the last decade and is looking to take the step necessary to ensure success in the next decade. They are looking to upgrade their staff by adding a talented Safety Engineering Manager to their team. They are looking for an individual with high potential that is looking to grow with an organization.
As the Safety Engineering Manager you will:
Lead Safety and Health processes, methods, programs, and culture throughout the organization
Develop new health and safety initiatives that will take the corporation to new levels of operations excellence
Implement a behavior based safety philosophy in the organization
Identify and implement new proactive safety measures
Provide direction and leadership to corporate management
Provide safety training to plant and management personnel
Handle PSM, OHSA and workers compensation
To be considered for this role you must have:
Have a four-year engineering degree
10 years of safety experience in a processing facility
Formal training and experience with Process Safety Management
