Chihuahua - Small - Adult - Male - Dog - Capone

Capone is an eight year old purebred Chi who is overweight, he weighs about ten pounds and should weigh about eight. He was even more overweight when he arrived and had missing hair from flea allergies, and was crawling with fleas. He has been completely vetted and treated for the fleas and he looks and feels so much better. His hair has grown back and is thick and glossy again. He is a sweet boy once he knows you, but needs time to adjust to new people, and can be feisty with other dogs if challenged. An adult home with maybe one or two quiet, laid back dogs would be best for him. He loves my husband and seems to prefer men, although he is very fond of me too. He loves to cuddle and sleep next to his people in bed at night. He is housebroken but you have to watch him to make sure he doesn't mark, once he knows you're watching he stops. He knows better, he's just testing! He is very funny and playful for an eight year old dog. He's been completely vetted: Neutered, heartworm and fecal checked, and given his five way and rabies vaccines. If you are looking for a pal to share your walking/ exercise plan, Capone would benefit so much from this and give you a great companion to share your walks with.
