Bernie is a 5 year old Terrier dachshund Mix. I absolutely adore Bernie! he is such a sweetie. He does however bark enough for both dogs! He's not bad in the house but if he sees my neighbors dogs or a squirrel etc. he will bark like crazy. He is 100 housebroken. He too likes to be a lap dog. Since he does have a tendency to be a bit of a nipper I would say no to children under 14. He is the perfect dog for the right person!
