Lakeland Terrier - Small - Young - Male - Dog - Toots
Description
Hi - My name is Toots and sometimes Bad Dog. I am a Lakeland Terrier,( see pic for cuteness) girl, 2 years young and full of adventure. I love my Mon and Dad but I've grown to dislike my sister - Mattie. For some reason that Mom can't figure out, Mattie has grown to dislike me too. I think that Iwant to be an only child. Mom has has experts come and visit us to try to figure out the problem. They finally said - They just should not be together. This made Mom and Dad very sad. Mom want so much for us to get along. Right now we share Mom. Mattie gets the morning and I get the afternoon's love to play, run and hunt. Things that move fast make me want to get and kill it - fast moving water, leaves, small prey. We live on the river so I no longer like geese. They are too noisy. I don't like loud noises either. What would be fun about load noises anyway? I love walks and Mom takes me on bike rides. I have gone to Mutt Struts and was very well behaved. I visit with my cousin Maw, a Westy, and we get along very well. He thinks he's faster then me. Huh! I love to have Mom groom me ( She hand strips me) and can be very cuddly. My fur has two coats and dries very fast. Even mud falls off. I don't shed ( so you won't sneeze!) but but Mom brushes me twice a week. I love being a clown. We travel a lot so I am used to being in a car. I like until we end up at the vet. I don't like the funny smell but the treats are great except when I had to stay so I could not have babies. Yuck - babies - too small to play with! I 've been around small people and can be fine but if they have high pitched voices I get really excited. Mom tells me to calm down - they're not litter mates to chase and pull on the hair. I can sit, stay ( not much fun) and do some other things Mom tells me to. I love Mom so most of the time I do them but it's hard when I see or smell something interesting. I sleep in my cave (crate) and love a routine. I ask Mom to let me in and out. Sometimes I have to tell her a couple of times and she tells me to be more patient. I don't know why she doesn't understand Bark Bark Bark? Mystery!! I am in good shape, about 17 lbs an18" tall ( I AM A BIG DOG In My Eyes) and have been poked by the smelly vet. Mom makes dry and moist food for me. I like that. Mom said that there might be another Mom waiting for me to entertain. I'm very picky about Moms and so is mine. Mom said that if I move I get to take all my stuff ( squeaky toys - YEA) with me and I might even like the smells in that yard better. We'll see. Mom also said the if I didn't like it I could move back home. Mom would want to be able to come and see me. I like that idea. If you want a lap dog I can do that for a little bit but got to go see what's happening. I don't mind going outside in the rain, snow - get to dig in that- or nice weather. I don't like it when we take a long car ride to where it's hot and humid. Just lay around waiting for lizards or something to move fast. I like cats until they move fast. Mom keeps telling me not to chase. It's hard to tell the difference in something furry moving fast or swishing tails. I would be better not being around furry animals.
