Ruby was next on the "to be put to sleep" list at a rural Ohio shelter. She'd been left there weeks earlier and the shelter was filling up. Ruby is 8 years old and has had multiple litters of pups in her short past. Now older - the family didn't want her any more! Too bad for them - she's a sweetheart! Ruby has the body of a Basset Hound, sitting low to the ground and the coat of a black Cocker Spaniel. Very unique looking, 32 pound girl. Super friendly, she's in a foster home with larger dogs and children -- getting along fine. Housebroke, crate trained, loves to be with people - she follows foster mom around the house. Not a jumper or a barker. Very happy gentle girl! Spayed, vaccines up to date, heartworm negative and on prevention. GREAT Disposition - cuddly girl. Adoption fee $140.
