Beagle - Medium - Senior - Male - Dog - Wrigley
Description
Wrigley is a very sweet, somewhat portly, gentleman. Hes about 8 years old and had to leave his former home due to his owners medical difficulties. Its apparent hes been well loved all his life. Despite a few extra pounds, he loves to play and is very light on his feet when he wants to be. He can be a bit possessive of his food and favorite toys, but when corrected, hes very submissive. He potties well on leash and sleeps at the foot of the bed until hes ready to rise which he indicates by a nice sloppy kiss. He does need his ears cleaned frequently and goes airborne as soon as he sees the cotton balls and vinegar. He makes me chase him for a while and then, resigned, hangs his head as if to say, go head and get it over with. He has a wonderfully expressive face and a bark/howl thats so plaintive, you hope the neighbors dont hear it. All around, a great guy!
