Description
Stunningly handsome Black and Tan Coonhound, 14 months old and 57 pounds. Derby is one sleek dude! Probably another 5-8 pounds would be a good "adult" weight for him. Friendly, fun , happy boy. Seems fine with most dogs, not a good idea to be around cats. He will chase. Good with older children. Younger children he can definitely knock over. Knows a few commands. Needs reinforcement on manners. Housebroke and crate trained. Can be spooked by loud noises - so no hunting!! As with all hounds, needs secure fenced large yard for exercise and exploring. Active family with another dog would be ideal! Derby's a sweetheart -- gentle too! Neutered, vaccines up to date, heartworm negative and on prevention. Adoption fee $160
