A note about our guests. While we cannot guarantee behaviors, we do want to let all potential adopters know, that we test each of our guests. We test them for food problems, as in do they mind humans or other animals near their food. We test for sensitivity to touching and staring as well as compatibility with other dogs. When find a dog or puppy or have one surrendered to us, we do not place them up for adoption, right away. Instead we give them time to show who they are and what their personality is like. A note about owner surrenders, we cannot accept, because of liability reasons, Pitt Bulls or any other bully breed.Trapper is an approximately two year old male Blue tick Coon hound.He was found as a stray in the Wooster, Ohio area.He came to us, as his time was almost up at a shelter in Wooster, and the staff did not want to see him euthenized. Trapper is an all around great dog, easy going, very smart, house trained, up to date on vaccines including rabies.He weighs in at about 75 pounds.He would do well in a country setting or a home with a large yard for him to play in and be safe in.He is not good with cats or small critters, like rabbits, etc., after all he is a hunting/working breed.He does not jump and is great with kids, very gentle and easy going.
