Your assistance is GREATLY appreciated. Thank you. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 9/09 .... Josey has been on an anti-anxiety medication (affordable generic) and making GREAT progress !!!... Gorgeous, loving, cuddly Josey! Everything in a wonderful companion dog except...Josey has separation anxiety. She needed to be with or near a human 90% of the day (prior to placement on medication). Josey is a 5-6 year old female German Shorthaired Pointer who originally was rescued by an individual who found her chained up. Her "owner" wanted a hunting dog and Josey wouldn't hunt, plus she's afraid of gun shot noise. So....Josey became an outside dog chained & given little attention. Rescued by this caring individual -- Josey is now an inside dog wanting interaction and love. She is housebroke. Josey needs an Active permanent home where people will include her & not expect her to live alone. Children and other dogs would be ideal!! Typical of the breed, Josey is friendly and wants to stay near people. Liver and white easy care short coat....definitely not high maintenance grooming. Weight 55 pounds, spayed, vaccines up to date, heartworm negative & on monthly prevention. We're still learning about this girl. Email for application or with questions. More info as learned.
