We cannot guarantee breed, weight, age of dogs or final adult size of puppies.Rowdy is a six month old lab/pit bull mix that was found as a stray in the Old West End. He was underweight and had a back leg that he wasn't able to use. He appeared to be a victim of abuse and yet was happy to be cuddled and eager to please everyone he met. Several good samaritans working together were able to find a temporary home for him while his medical needs could be evaluated. After a complete veterinary work up it was determined that Rowdy's leg would need to be amputated. His hips and pelvis were covered in old fractures suggesting multiple beatings, kicks, or who knows what. His left leg was shorter than his right, due to healing fractures, and the muscle was useless. If the leg remained, Rowdy would suffer more medical problems down the road. So, Rowdy had his leg removed and was neutered all in one day. He was a bit sleepy for two days and since then hasn't missed the leg at all. Rowdy is a happy puppy who just loves life. He enjoys playing with other dogs, cats, and kids. The only thing he doesn't like is being left alone. He loves to be with people and still appears to have a fear of being abandoned again. Rowdy is looking for a family to call his own. Planned Pethood covered his medical expenses to give him the opportunity to have a healthy and happy life.
