We cannot guarantee breed, weight, age of dogs or final adult size of puppies.Haven is a very special 6 year old, 50 lb rottweiler mix who has lived a very exceptional life so far. First she was confiscated by the Fulton County dog wardens on cruelty charges when she was about 4 years old because her original owner didn't bother with providing food or water for her. Then, during a trial adoption, she became lost and survived for 10 months "on the road" between Marblehead and Genoa OH. Now she is back on her foster home, enjoying the good life once again. Haven is very attached to her foster family, especially her foster mom. She does well in situations where she feels she can rely on her. She is a happy, loving dog who wags her whole body when she is happy. She gets along great with other dogs and loves to play. She is housetrained, and really doesn't have any bad habits. She cannot live with cats or other small animals. Haven deserves her own special home where she would get lots of time and attention. Her potential adopters would have to be willing to move very slowly through the adoption process, with short meetings so she could get to know them and then gradually build that trust for short stays until she is comfortable. Since she has always lived with other dogs, her adopters should already have a dog that she can rely on in her new home. A fenced-in yard is preferred and no electric fences because they would frighten her.
