She was rescued from an area pound where she came into as a stray from a small rural town. From the looks of her she has had puppies, but no puppies were with her at the pound. Her old family probably decided to keep one of the puppies and let Ariel loose to fend for herself. She is about 2 years old and weighs about 70 lbs. She loves other dogs and is indifferent to her foster family's cats. Your mileage may differ on the cats as her foster family's cats are very dog savvy. She is housebroke. She stays in a crate when her foster family is gone (which isn't too often), but she really doesn't like it and doesn't need to be in one. Ariel doesn't get on furniture unless she is asked. She loves to play with tennis balls, but she is very choosy and it has to be a YELLOW tennis ball. She'll play fetch with you for hours and even flips the ball to you so you can toss it again. She'll even jump off of a dock to get it. She can be a little grabby with the ball, so because of that she probably shouldn't be with small children. She is not at all aggressive even when other dogs growl at her she will just walk away. She's just an young enthusiastic lab and because of that could possibly knock over young children or someone elderly when she gets excited. She walks really well on a leash and knows sit.
